
Nicole Gamez graduated with her masters in occupational therapy (OT) from East Carolina University in 2018 and has a bachelors of science in Kinesiology. She has clinical experience with pediatric patients from a variety of settings including the NICU, in-patient, outpatient, and school system settings. Upon becoming licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy, Nicole has continued to pursue pediatrics through providing OT services at an outpatient clinic in Statesville prior to moving to Raleigh in 2021. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injuries, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorders and developmental delays.
Nicole is passionate about providing children and families with the skills and tools needed to promote engagement and success in activities and occupations needed to help reach their goals – whether in the school, home, or clinic setting – in a way that is professional, meaningful, motivating, and fun! In her spare time, Nicole enjoys painting, singing, playing guitar, and spending time with her family and friends.
