Monika Gupta graduated from Adelphi University with MASTERS OF Science in Early Childhood Special EDUCATION. She holds North Carolina B-K teaching license SP11 and is credentialed as an Infant Toddler Family Specialist (ITFS). Monika has over 10 years of experience working with young children (0-5), with special needs including children with global delays, Autism, Down Syndrome, Traumatic Brian Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Deficits, Visual Impairments, Hearing Impairments, behavior concerns, Medically Fragile and speech and language delays. She has provided services in a variety of natural settings, including home based, community based and school based environments. Monika strongly believes in working closely with the parents, caregivers and team members to ensure effective implementation of the service delivery plan. Monika has over five years of experience working with young children in an inclusive preschool setting. She worked closely with a team of specialized therapist and families to successfully develop and individualize interventions within an integrated environment where all children could learn together. She attends regular trainings and workshops across the area to CONTINUOUSLY enhance her skills.
