Kassidy graduated with her master’s in occupational therapy from Gannon University in 2020. She has over three years clinical experience working with pediatric patients in a sensory clinic as well as natural environments. She has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome.
Kassidy became interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics after a clinical rotation through the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital specializing in constraint induced movement therapy for children with cerebral palsy. She also had the opportunity to complete a clinical rotation in Guatemala working with adults and children at a day program. This rotation showcased the benefits of inclusion, advocacy, and community support.
Kassidy is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. In her spare time, Kassidy enjoys reading, visiting coffee shops, and spending time with her friends, family, and cats.
