Liz received her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Science (2016) and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (2017) from Nazareth College. She is originally from upstate New York. Liz completed her 3 month fieldwork rotations at the Syracuse VA Medical Center in New York and Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio. After completing her second rotation at the children’s hospital, Liz found her passion for working with the pediatric population and began working in the public school system in New York.
In 2019, Liz and her husband moved to Raleigh, where she continued her work in the school setting with the Wake County Public School System. While working at Wake County Public Schools, Liz’s interest in sensory processing disorder grew, which led her to explore opportunities in outpatient therapy. As a result, she began working at Kid Sense Therapy in 2022. Liz has experience working with kids with a variety of diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, TBI, muscular dystrophy, and cerebral palsy.
Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and 2 dogs and also likes running, reading, and exploring the Raleigh area.
