Becca graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences with a minor in Developmental Disabilities from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She always knew she wanted to work with kids but until moving to North Carolina had not pursued Occupational Therapy. Becca graduated from Durham Technical Community College’s OTA program in May 2023 with clinical experience in a mental health setting, schools, skilled nursing facility, and a pediatric sensory integration clinic in the Triangle area. Through her fieldwork experience she worked with adults and children with a variety of backgrounds.
During her clinical rotation in the sensory integration clinic, Becca realized this was the setting she wanted to pursue. She found her passion working in pediatric OT and providing care to kids and support to their families.
Outside of work Becca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and playing with her dog. Her hobbies include her plants, playing pickleball, and planning trips.
