Hannah Thomas is a certified occupational therapist from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She developed a passion for OT after growing up in Eastern Europe where therapy services were scarce. After completing research on the positive impact of OT in new Balkan countries, she moved to the United States to complete her undergraduate and master’s degrees. Throughout her education, Hannah has worked with children along the continuum of development, including the NICU, early intervention, school systems, and the hospital setting. Hannah currently works as an occupational therapist at Kid Sense Therapy supporting children and their families in the clinic, preschool, and home environment!
Hannah completed both her clinical rotations in the pediatric settings of early intervention in Raleigh, NC and outpatient pediatrics at UNC Hospitals. She is experienced in working with a wide range of diagnoses, some of which include Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Hannah is passionate about approaching each evaluation and treatment session with empathy, creativity, critical thinking, and fun!
Hannah is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. She recently moved to downtown Durham, NC with her husband and a car full of plants. In her spare time, she loves to rock climb, sit in local coffee shops, and have long chats with the people she loves.
